Student Life

Join the Family

From our student events and community service activities to our clubs and numerous research opportunities, you’ll find a home at FBNS. Although a large department, our small class sizes and family-like atmosphere create an inviting environment where you can learn, explore, and grow as an individual and rising professional.

Club activities also include:

  • Sponsorship of the Dairy Bar at the NC State Fair
  • Tailgates at potluck style get-togethers prior to home football games
  • Participation in the College Bowl where students battle faculty to determine who knows the most facts about food
