Our department is committed to providing both undergraduate and graduate students with financial assistance to recognize and reward them for their achievements in the classroom and the community, as well as to ease the financial burden of going to college. To accomplish that we depend greatly on the generosity of many individuals, companies, and organizations.
Scholarships can be based on academic performance, character, extra-curricular activities, leadership potential, home town or county, and/or professional interests at the discretion of the donor. Financial need may be a criteria for some scholarships, but it is not a requirement for all.
We recognize our supporters and the students whom they help each year at the annual awards banquet. If you would like to be among those who support our program and students, please contact Dr. Keith Harris for information on how to formalize the commitment.
